Dianne D. Peebles

Ms. Peebles comes to Knox Ricksen with over 22 years of experience as a successful trial attorney representing and defending clients in third party liability, product liability and contract actions with 20 trials, including 15 jury trials, hundreds of first and third party arbitrations and mediations, and hundreds of depositions.  She has defended first party medical payments and uninsured motorist claims and has represented insurance carriers in first party coverage issues.  She presently represents private, insured and self insured clients in litigation and business matters, including the representation of clients in cases involving personal injury, insurance coverage, insurance fraud, and qui tam actions.  Ms. Peebles practice has focused in the area of insurance defense, including bodily injury, products liability and coverage, with an emphasis on defense of fraudulent insurance claims.  She has also sat as a mediator and arbitrator in Alameda County. 

Before joining Knox Ricksen, Ms. Peebles was a partner at Haims, Johnson, McGowan & McInerney and Haims, MacGowan, Valentino & Peebles.  She began her civil trial practice defending insured’s in third party litigation, first party med-pay and uninsured motorist claims, defense of suspected fraudulent claims, product liability, construction defect, contract, and wrongful termination.  She then maintained her own practice continuing her representation of clients in civil trial actions, defending fraudulent actions and representing insurance carriers in coverage matters. 

Ms. Peebles brings with her to Knox Ricksen confidence and experience in both the courtroom and in resolving matters in a timely and efficient manner bringing her clients the best possible representation and resolution possible.
