David F. Zucca
David F. Zucca’s practice focuses on civil and appellate litigation, insurance coverage, first party insurance issues, including fraud, and general corporate/employment matters. He represents private clients with an emphasis on cases involving personal injury, insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, and insurance fraud.
Before joining Knox Ricksen LLP, Mr. Zucca developed broad experience by defending private and public agency clients facing personal injury, premises liability, employment discrimination, and insurance fraud-related claims. Mr. Zucca also defended two separate class action lawsuits for multiple clients. In the first class action suit, which lasted in excess of 4 years, he secured a defense verdict for more than 20 client defendants. The case was appealed and resulted in new case law limiting the applicability of non-delegable duties. Subsequently, this case law was instrumental in resolving the second class action lawsuit, which involved similar, but not identical, issues.
Mr. Zucca also served as General Counsel for Emagia and Solix Systems. His responsibilities included the creation and negotiation of client and vendor licenses and contracts, matters related to finance, and human resources/personnel issues. He continues to advise private clients on employment and vendor contracts.
