Knox Ricksen Sponsors the 19th Annual Northern California Fraud Investigators Association Training Conference
Knox Ricksen LLP proudly sponsored and participated in the 19th annual NCFIA conference, which was held on March 19-21, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in beautiful Monterey. Participating in this conference allows members of Knox Ricksen LLP to reunite with colleagues and friends, provide training, and analyze the recent developments in fraud investigation and litigation.
The NCFIA provides a forum for insurance industry SIU personnel, law enforcement, and other affiliated investigators, attorneys, and experts who all seek to strengthen skills, broaden job knowledge, and advance the goals of our diverse membership. It coordinates information sharing and assists in the identification, apprehension and prosecution of those responsible for acts of fraud, utilizing networking and emerging technologies. NCFIA members are regularly informed of changes in pending legislation to reduce the incidence of fraud and improve the quality of fraud investigation. Awareness of the scope of the fraud problem and its potential solutions is communicated between NCFIA members and the general public in order to build support for anti-fraud initiatives.
As always, Knox Ricksen LLP looks forward to sharing training, knowledge and camaraderie with the members of the NCFIA next year.
