Knox Ricksen’s Landlord/Tenant Team Joins RHANAC Trade Show and Speaks on Panel
In March 2008 Knox Ricksen’s Landlord/Tenant litigation team presented ourselves enthusiastically at our booth at the Rental Housing Association of Northern Alameda County Trade Show. The Rental Housing Association of Northern Alameda County is a community outlet for local rental property owners and provides the resources which enable members to operate successful and efficient rental property businesses. Knox Ricksen is happy to help RHANAC’s create awareness and provide quality educational programs.
Throughout the day at the trade show our team offered experience, legal knowledge, and overall support to property owners facing the wide variety legal issues that can be extremely costly to the unwary landlord. Landlords received insight regarding the details habitability requirements, effective property management to prevent litigation, and awareness of seemingly harmless intentions giving rise to discrimination lawsuits. Knox Ricksen also participated in one of the many seminars offered throughout the day by participating in an attorney panel answering questions about evictions, nuisances, recent litigation trends, and numerous other problems faced by property owners in Alameda County.
