Jeffrey Rocha

Jeffrey Rocha represents insurance companies and other large payors in affirmative civil actions to recoup losses from false, fraudulent, or misleading claims submitted under policies of insurance or other benefit contracts, with a particular emphasis on healthcare fraud.

Jeff’s healthcare fraud practice ranges from deposing healthcare professionals and unlicensed clinic operators to analyzing large volumes of medical billing and financial documents to substantiate fraud allegations.

With more than a decade of civil litigation experience, Jeff has represented clients in state and federal courts, litigating commercial, corporate, securities, and healthcare fraud matters on both the plaintiff and defense sides. He has overseen every phase of complex litigation, from pleadings and discovery through depositions, mediation, and settlement, and has experience serving as second chair at trial. Jeff also has experience advising businesses and their leaders on contract interpretation, fiduciary duties, governance disputes, and statutory compliance.

During law school, Jeff served in judicial externships with the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and the San Francisco Superior Court Hall of Justice.

Before law school, Jeff worked for a national brokerage firm as a Series 7 and 63 licensed stockbroker.
