Laura Richards Sherry is an experienced litigator licensed to practice in both Texas and Oklahoma. Her practice at Knox Ricksen focuses on insurance fraud litigation, with an emphasis on healthcare fraud, representing insurance companies and other large payors in affirmative civil actions brought to recoup losses sustained as the result of false, fraudulent, or misleading claims presented for payment under policies of insurance or other benefit contracts.
Offering clients sophisticated legal analysis and trial skills, Laura adeptly steers case projects from initiation and discovery through trial and arbitration, with an emphasis on complex multi-party litigation. In previous firms, she has handled extensive consumer products litigation, as well as investment fraud, insurance defense, personal injury, and construction defect litigation.
