Knox Ricksen LLP, a civil litigation firm specializing in complex health care fraud cases, has added Michael Guan as an associate in its Walnut Creek office.

Guan has defended clients in several types of general liability insurance matters. He has handled all aspects of discovery, including briefs, requests and responses, as well as pre-trial motions and motions for summary judgment. Prior to graduating from law school, Guan clerked for an insurance defense firm, representing clients in various general liability matters. He is fluent in Mandarin. Guan earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (2021) and his B.A. and B.S. from the University of California, Davis (2015).
