Knox Ricksen LLP announces that Senior Associate Katherine “Katie” Frank has been selected for inclusion on the 2025 Texas Rising Stars list. Frank is recognized in the “Business Litigation” category.
The Texas Rising Stars list comprises attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or fewer. Each year, only the top 2.5 percent of attorneys across the state are selected for the Texas Rising Stars list. The feature is compiled through Thomson Reuters’ multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
Frank represents clients in civil actions involving issues related to insurance defense and health care fraud. Before joining the firm in 2022, she spent nearly five years trying numerous matters involving Title VII, Title IX, defamation, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty. Frank’s experience includes managing a heavy caseload in both state and federal courts, and she has handled all stages of litigation, drafting and arguing motions and developing litigation strategies. She earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law (2017) and her B.A. from the University of Texas (2011).
